Review; Fake MAC 182 Buffer Brush

Hey guys,

I have another FAKE MAC brush review for you today! I wanted to get the MAC 182 for a long time but it seemed soo expensive for a brush. So I hopped on eBay to find a cheaper alternative for it, I ended up buying a "MAC" 182 buffer brush from eBay a few weeks ago and it came on last Friday, and so far I'm really impressed!

The real MAC brush costs £32.50, but I paid £2.49 for my bush, which is actually less than the £2.50 change added onto the real MAC version!!

The brush is densely packed and feels luxuriously soft. For a fake brush, the softness is so impressive as I know from experience 'real' brushes can be super scratchy - I'm talking about you Bourjois Kabuki!

Although the bristles are dense, it's not too dense for applying setting powder. I still get a light coverage and it doesn't give me a cakey finish. I also use it to blend any harsh lines between my blush and bronzer to soften my look.

The brush has "MAC 182" printed on it in silver.

You also get a cute little case with the brush, which by itself I would pay more than £3 for! The case is soft and is made from high quality fake leather. It is embossed with "MAC" which I think is a nice little detail. The zip ad stitching are perfect and of a very high quality too.

As you could probably tell already I don't regret buying it one bit, and have nothing but praise for the poor man's "MAC" brush!

I got it from this seller, however they no longer have it listed so just search eBay if your interested!

You can read my fake MAC Hello Kitty brush review here and my fake MAC Hello Kitty kabuki brush here.

Do you own the real version? Or are you interested in the fake?

Haul/Review; Fake MAC Hello Kitty Kabuki Brush

Hi ladies :)

I am always on the look out for new brushes, I really don't think you can have too many! After my pleasant experience with my other FAKE MAC Hello Kitty brush set, I finally gave into this brush. My other Bourjois Powder Kabuki Brush was becoming a little on the rough side after plenty of washes, it wasn't really a pleasure to apply products with it, so this is definitely an upgrade!

I couldn't find many reviews before ordering the Kabuki, but I went ahead anyway.

The brush comes with a little case which is so cute! The print isn't perfect, but I don't mind as its soft and has no smell. The case will prevent damage to your kabuki brush, from either dust and germs but also inside your handbag! The brush I used to have in there got so dirty and covered in crumbs & rubbish - all sorts really- it was so nasty! This case however is perfect.

The brush is perfectly sized. Not too small and not too big.

As you can see in the photos, the bristles are incredibly dense and are shaped into a light dome. This means that the brush picks up products really well and gives a lovely flawless finish. What I really love about this brush though is how wonderfully soft it is.

I have had no issues with shedding on this little guy and it works flawlessly buffing my powder in everyday.

I washed this brush 3 times, its easy to wash and it dries over night or around 5 hours!

As I said, I bought this knowing full well it was FAKE MAC, and like I said in my previous post -here- I have no issue with buying fake products.

I bought it for £2.88, and I am really pleased.

The seller I bought it from no longer has the item, but it is easily found on ebay.

Birthday Haul/Review; Fake Mac Hello Kitty Brushes

Hi everyone,

I was trawling through eBay last week when I came across a fake MAC Hello Kitty brush set, now with my love for Hello Kitty and new obsession with MAC I quickly picked them up. Now I know they aren't real, I'm not stupid, but to be honest, I have no qualms about fake products. It's business, and they're trying their best to earn some money. Most of the time the fakes are just as good, or just about as good as the real thing, and for sometimes not even half the price of the real one, you can totally understand why people buy fakes.

The fake case, the 'leather' is really soft! It is very well made too.

With that over with, I am really happy with my purchase! As said I bought it on eBay from this seller Goldenbridger365 but they no longer have it up for sale. However you can easily search it on eBay and there is loads of other sellers. I paid £5.30 for these brushes, with free shipping.

All the brushes came with a protective cover, but I took it off because you couldn't see the brushes properly.
The set comes with 7 brushes;

187SE Stippling brush
190SE Foundation brush

168SE White contour brush

194SE Eye shadow brush / Concealer brush

266SE Angle eyebrow brush
219SE Eye shadow brush
316SE Lip brush

187SE Stippling brush - The brush is so soft, and really dense, I think I am going to use it for my MAC MSF.

190SE Foundation brush - Again this brush is amazingly soft and dense, I don't normally use a brush for foundation, but I am going to give this ago.

168SE White contour brush - This brush is nice, but not as soft as the others - it is still soft but not uber soft. I will use this for contouring or highlighting.

Next is 194SE Eye shadow brush / Concealer brush - this is a mini version of the foundation brush! Its soft and dense, meaning it can pack on the colour.

266SE Angle eyebrow brush - This brush is a little soft I think for my eyebrows, so I will use it for smudging out eyeliner. Its soft and has a pinky/purple tinge to it.

316SE Lip brush - I wont be using this for my lips as I never have a use for lip brushes, but I think I will use it for applying eye shadow under my water line.

219SE Eye shadow brush - Now this is the only brush that is a little scratchy. But once I wash it, I think it will be fine. You can see in the picture that the hairs look very pointy and harsh, but 1/7 crap brushes isnt too bad!

I have played around with these and so far no shedding, which I am surprised and very pleased with!

Also, these brushes are travel sized, so it is perfect for this coming weekend as I am going away to Stockport for my Uncles wedding. I also think I will keep this set in my bag as it will be perfect for touch ups on the go.

What do you guys think about fake products?
