Part 1; How I Bleached My Extensions

Hey guys!

If your anything like me, then you are very impatient and very decisive! Last Tuesday I woke up and had the need to have ombre hair. So off I ran to boots to buy myself some bleach to bleach my extensions!

WARNING: Do not attempt to dye synthetic extensions.

Now I am going to show you how I did it, but bearing in mind I am not a professional or expert just a really impatient person, it wont be perfect! My extensions were bought blonde, I had dyed them about 6 times, and were completely black before I started - the bleach had a lot of work to do :P

Tools;

Bleaching Kit - Powder and Bleach

Hair - On your head or extensions

Brush - To mix the stuff up

Tinfoil 

Old Towel 

I used the Jerome Russell Bblonde for light to brown hair. In the pack you get 4 powder bleaches, but you have to buy the Cream Peroxide separately. The box cost like £3.50 and the developer was £1.50 ish. 

For my extensions I needed 2 sachets and 2 bottles.

You just mix them up and you are ready to go!

Then I put my extension in, made a mental note of how far I wanted the bleach up, took them out and put them on a sheet of tin foil to reduce the mess, then I slapped the bleach on!

 

 I left them for 30 mins, then ta-da! Gingery blonde hair :D

Now, my hair did look really frizzy so I left conditioner on over night and it seemed to help. But I did end up dying them a magenta purpley colour, which I think made them look a lot healthier and blend in more with my own hair. That will be in part 2 of my extension post :)

Storm & Haul; 17 and The Sims 3 Expansions

Hey guys,

This will just be a really small and quick post today! 

Ive been feeling under the weather the past few days! Plus as most of you know in England yesterday there was a massive storm,  in Newcastle it was really bad with flooding and lighting hitting the area. The ‘supercell’ thunderstorm was really interesting for me as I really love learning about weather *such a nerd* it made me feel smart knowing that I knew why it was happening and how :P The most famous video/photo of yesterday would be lighting hitting the Tyne Bridge, it was mental! It has been all over the news and has gotten so many view on YT. I have included the photo below so you can have a look! Also the Metro Center and parts of the city center flooded too, which caused evacuations in both places.

What makes it scary, is that those are cars on the bridge, and that the people inside could have easily been killed!

This is my garden too, it flooded but not as bad as some peoples! A few of my friends homes were  flooded :(

The water was pretty deep!

Anyway onto the haul;

First I picked up 17 Wild Metallic Eyes in the shade Wild Nude. I think it cost £3.50

The shade comes of a nice bronzey nude with slight shimmer.

Next I went to GAME to get Sims 3 Pets and Ambitions expansion packs. 

I love the Sims, and since Im going to be off the next few months looking for a job I thought these would ease my boredom :D

So thats it, like I said only small!

Birthday Wishlist & Early Present!

 Hey guys! 

Today has been such a great day :D 

My mam and dad took me shopping today for a new laptop since its my 18th birthday on Monday, I got a gamer laptop which I am supper excited and grateful for. The brand is Lenovo and its the Z570, I used to use a Acer Aspire laptop but it was getting old and couldn't run The Sims 3 or Skyrim, so I decided I would splurge on a new one. Plus I got a really good deal on this laptop, as it was £699.99 down to £449.99 with a free wireless mouse so I was chuffed! 

Anyway, with my birthday coming up I know I am getting some money as presents from some of my family members, so I thought I would show you what I am planning to spend it on!

The firsts things I want to buy are some lipsticks, I know in the past I said I'm not too much of a fan but lately I've been obsessed over them! I really want to try some Barry M ones, NYX Round Lipsticks and MACs.

I did order some NYX Round Lipsticks a few weeks ago as a present for my birthday, and when I received them I swatched them and really liked them! So what I am trying to say is that I want to get some more!

I will do a full review of the NYX Round Lipsticks when I 'officially' get them on Monday! :D

I really want to try some MAC and Barry M lipsticks just because I have heard so much about them, the colours I want are all in the same family, mostly bright pinks and light pinks. I also want Barry M's Lavender lipstick as I have been lusting over that soooooooo much!

Next I want to get Calvin Klein CKOne Summer, its smells beautiful! I think this scent describes me, if that makes any sense, it smells of lime but also has a sweet under tone and I think it would suit me to a tee!

The only piece of clothing I know I want that my mam hasn't bought me is the Nerd Herd t-shirt. If you have never watched the show Chuck you may have no idea what I'm going on about, but I love Chuck and really want to be in the Nerd Herd :P

So thats it! I only want a few items, and want to save the rest of my money for a hoilday after my exams are done! *WOO*

Update; Neglected Blog

Hello!

Sorry to have been so quiet recently, but I'm in the middle of exams at the moment, and have been revising a lot :( So I will be back to normal hopefully in the Half Term Holidays, so expect to see some more posts then.

I was also wondering how you guys would feel about maybe doing some movie review style posts? As well as my normal beauty posts, just for something a bit different, or maybe something else such as music I'm listening to?

Update & Lush Bath

-Blegh-

This week I have been so ill! I wont go into detail, but I think I had food poisoning plus I pulled a muscle in my back :( 

The only thing that has soothed my back is having a nice hot bath!

First I used The Comforter bubble bar which Lush describes as;

"We threw everything we had at this one, to make it warming, comforting and reassuring. We wanted a bath that gave the same sense of safety and calm that your favourite teddy, your comfort blanket or a snuggly scarf gives. At times when you feel you need to protect yourself from the world - immerse yourself in this pink bath and allow the familiar oils to envelop you in a comforting berry scented embrace."

Next I used a slice of Happy Blooming which makes the water feel so soft and creamy, then Blackberry Bomb which is a bath bomb that just goes so well with the Comforter!  I also used a sugar scrub from Lush called Sugar Babe which is now discontinued, but there is green one still available. For my soap I used a slice of Honey I Washed The Kids as it's smell makes me happy!

For a extra 'pamper' I used a 

Strawberry Souffle face mask by Montagne Jeunesse, which left my skin soft and just feeling really nice. 

My boyfriend then bought me some beautiful roses and a bar of chocolate, which made my week. I love him so much! 

So yes, I've not been shopping or wearing to much make up this week, just been chillin' in my jarmies watching 16 and Pregnant and American Dad. I should have been doing revision but I couldn't bring myself to do anything - oh well it will be mass revision at the weekend for my English Lit exam!

Sorry for the lack of posts guys, normally I post every day or two days but since last Thursday I’ve been so uninspired! So leave me a comment telling me what you want to see :)

If you had read my Excited For My Birthday post here, you would know I was getting an iPhone 4S for my birthday instead of the 3GS I have now, but on Friday my dad and mam surprised me and let me get it early! I was so excited! But now I have to find a cute case! :P 

Also I have a question for you guys; Do you play Sims 3?

My boyfriend got me it, and I have been trying to play it but every time I go to play like move the characters and that it freezes o.O I’m like wtf? My computer has all the specs to run the Sims 3 but it just won’t play! I’m so confused, and have found no answers to help... So if this has ever happened to you let me know!

And lastly, I go back to six form tomorrow *boo* I really don’t want to go back, I’m so lazy! So if I don’t post as regularly that’s why...  I'm so not looking forward to that!

Frustrating Blogger!

Right here's my problem, my post aren't appearing on followers reading lists and its really pissing me off.

I have been posting on this blog for a while now with no problem, but two weeks ago for no apparent reason, after I publish blog post no one can see it! 

 I am doing nothing new (that I am aware of) and can not get them to show up! Its so frustrating! 

Has this happened to anyone else? Have you got any ideas how to fix this?

DIY; Decorating My Mirror & Cork Board

 Since it's spring I wanted to update my room a little, so I decided to paint my pine mirror and cork-board. I also have started making a nail varnish rack, so I will post about that either tomorrow or Friday :)  

The paint I used was metallic pink  

I used this paint from ASDA, it only cost 95p (I think) it took a couple of coats to get a good even coverage, but I still had tonnes left. My mirror is from B&M and cost £2.99, I used a old makeup brush to paint them.

I also stuck on some red love heart buttons

 Over all I think it turned out really well!

Excited For My Birthday In June Already??

I'm excited!!! 

So I'm a getting a iPhone 4S at the end of May, for my birthday on the 4th June (currently I have a iPhone 3GS) and I'm going to get a Hello Kitty phone case. So I want your opinion on what case looks the best and maybe get your opinions on cases you guys may have.

Hair Envy - Again

I'm feeling a little rubbish today, just really tired and looking crap. I really want to change my hair up, but if you have seen my hair story post, here, you will know why I am stopping myself from doing this.

So I thought I would blog about the hair I want, hoping it will get this feeling out of my system. 

This week, mainly today, I have been lusting over pastel hair. I just want it soooooooooooo badly but I cant do it. Ugh. I've damaged my hair too much, plus I would only want to dye it back black later on.

So yeah.. Do you have/had pastel hair? I've had almost all totally white blonde hair, and once very light purple when I left my purple shampoo on to long....

New Look Maxi Dress!

Yayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayayay! 

Now that's out the way, I'm so excited! Its my uncles wedding in summer and I found the perfect dress, first I seen it on This Morning or Lorraine Kellys show teamed with a blue blazer from forever 21, and I fell in love! The wedding is going to be really casual, so the dress is perfect!

I was out shopping today and remembered I had New Look store credit, so I popped in to try it on. It looked great so I knew I had to get it! Its called the Black Feather Print Georgette Maxi Dress, and cost £14.99, a bargain in my mind! Here's the link.

The pattern is really colorful which I love, and its so soft and airy.

I added a long gold necklace that I plan to wear with it, now I just need some earrings, shoes and a bag :)
