Update; Neglected Blog

Hello!

Sorry to have been so quiet recently, but I'm in the middle of exams at the moment, and have been revising a lot :( So I will be back to normal hopefully in the Half Term Holidays, so expect to see some more posts then.

I was also wondering how you guys would feel about maybe doing some movie review style posts? As well as my normal beauty posts, just for something a bit different, or maybe something else such as music I'm listening to?

Let me know what you think in the comments :3

Lusting; Unif Hellraisers

I know I haven't posted in awhile, I've been so busy revising and have been totally uninspired to blog :( But I have to let you guys know something...

I'm in love!

Yes, it's true! I've seriously fallen for these Unif Hellraisers, they are amazing!! I know they came out awhile ago but I never thought they were anything special, until I saw Bunny or GRAV3YARDGIRL wearing them in her Disney World vlogs. I really have been lusting after these, and with my 18th birthday coming up I think I might just treat myself to them :D

Images from SoleStruck

I'm thinking of buying them from SoleStruck.

Do any of you own a pair of these beauties? Let me know!

Update & Lush Bath

-Blegh-

This week I have been so ill! I wont go into detail, but I think I had food poisoning plus I pulled a muscle in my back :(

The only thing that has soothed my back is having a nice hot bath!

First I used The Comforter bubble bar which Lush describes as;

"We threw everything we had at this one, to make it warming, comforting and reassuring. We wanted a bath that gave the same sense of safety and calm that your favourite teddy, your comfort blanket or a snuggly scarf gives. At times when you feel you need to protect yourself from the world - immerse yourself in this pink bath and allow the familiar oils to envelop you in a comforting berry scented embrace."

Next I used a slice of Happy Blooming which makes the water feel so soft and creamy, then Blackberry Bomb which is a bath bomb that just goes so well with the Comforter!  I also used a sugar scrub from Lush called Sugar Babe which is now discontinued, but there is green one still available. For my soap I used a slice of Honey I Washed The Kids as it's smell makes me happy!

For a extra 'pamper' I used a

Strawberry Souffle face mask by Montagne Jeunesse, which left my skin soft and just feeling really nice.

My boyfriend then bought me some beautiful roses and a bar of chocolate, which made my week. I love him so much!

So yes, I've not been shopping or wearing to much make up this week, just been chillin' in my jarmies watching 16 and Pregnant and American Dad. I should have been doing revision but I couldn't bring myself to do anything - oh well it will be mass revision at the weekend for my English Lit exam!

What do you guys watch when your sick?

Poundland and Discount UK Bargains !

Recently there has been a massive Poundland and Discount UK opened not to far away.
So today me, my boyfriend and my dad went to check it out.

First I picked up some Alberto Balsam shampoo and conditioner I have been using for the past week. It is in the strawberry and cream scent, which reminds me of the sweet 'Campinos' that were out years ago! They were swirly red and white, which smell absolutely gorgeous, remember them??

These guys!!

The shampoo really cleans your hair, stripping it from product leaving it super clean - which I love! Even though the smell is pretty strong it is soft in your hair and doesn't overpower the room. After washing my hair with the conditioner, my hair feels really soft. It also looked a lot shinier, less frazzled. I would strongly recommend this to people who have very dry hair, or have damaged it through excessive use of bleach or heat. I will definitely be using these again.

Next I got some Hello Kitty Baby Wipes! I chose these mainly because its Hello Kitty :D Haha! You have to love the packaging and the pink, girly look. Also the scent is very nice, like sweet strawberry! I just cant get enough of the pink packaging - its so freaking sweet!! And whats even better is that I got this only for £1- cheap as chips!

I am going to use these mainly for wiping my hands before and after I apply my make up, as I hate the feeling of makeup on my hands. I'm not planning on using these on my face as they are scented, but I probably will some time along the line.

Lastly I just got some hair dye to cover my roots for just £2.99 instead of £4/5 which I normally pay. The writing on the box and instructions is in arabic but I know what goes in where so that's fine. I'm trying to leave my hair for at least 6 weeks, as I normally die it every 4 weeks which as everyone knows is bad. However it does cringe me when I look in the mirror and see rubbish brown roots with jet black hair :P I will probably end up doing it tomorrow knowing me!

Have you got any bargains this week?

eBay; Hello Kitty Phone Cover

Some of you many know I was looking for a cute Hello Kitty phone case when I found this, its so pretty but simple too!

The packaging is all in what I believe is Chinese, although it could be Japanese.

The case is from eBay and cost me £4.70. There are many sellers on eBay with this item, but this is the exact seller and item I bought - link.

The shipping did take a while, around 3 weeks but that's okay for me since it did come from China. Also I found it was well packaged and cushioned so the case wouldn't break - a massive plus obviously!

Also as you can see in the photo above, you do get instructions to help you with your case, however I was puzzled by the first step as it tells you to apply a screen protector - which is included- onto your phone, but it has 3 different covers which is confusing to put on :P In the end you had to remove side 1, apply side 2, them remove side 2 revealing a screen protector on your phone :)

How cute is the little bow?!?!

I love how it blends in with my phone and how its not to childish like some other cases are :)
The seller I bought it from does so many colours it was hard to choose, so I went with one to match my phone.

The ear behind the bow is a button to enables you to lock and turn your phone on and off, which at first I was worried how I would do that.

The bottom part removes so you can slide your phone in, once its shut it wont come off until you unclip it.
Also there are holes for headphones, the volume buttons, cameras and the silent button.

I have had this case for a week almost and I really do love it, I have dropped it numerous times and it has not broken or scratched, my phone fits in the case just right so it doesn't slip and slide around and the case itself has no sharp bits which could scratch you - my last one did :(

Well that's it, I hope you like my post,

Review; Lacura's Aqua Complete Moisturiser (Aldi)

I purchased Lacura's Aqua Complete Moisturiser cream after been recommended by my Auntie.
The moisturiser cost just £1.99 and is available from Aldi stores. The face cream comes in a 50ml transparent cylinder glass container with blue lid, which says its suitable for all skin types, which I do believe as it’s not too heavy or light for my combination skin.

Opening it up you see a pale blue cream, it is of quite a thin consistency, however it's not so runny that is goes everywhere. I found it was easy to apply, and soaked into the skin fast, within around 3 minutes. The smell is fresh and ‘cool’ and leaves your skin feeling refreshed as if your applied water.

I normally use this after I wash my face in the morning before putting my make-up on. It just needs a couple of minutes to sink in before I apply any make-up though! This doesn't give me spots, or irritate my skin - perfect!

For £1.99 you cannot go wrong, I really recommend trying it!
